Roger McCluskey is the co-founder of Hyplon Security and co-creator of Cyber Rookie.

Bringing a passion for teaching others and a diverse background spanning tutoring, project management, and government and private enterprise consulting, Roger makes cyber security practical and accessible.

At Hyplon Security, he works alongside business leaders to build information security and privacy programs that are business-aligned and people-focused, delivering tangible results that demonstrate to stakeholders that customer and company data is adequately protected.

Inspired by his own challenges starting out in the cyber security industry, he co founded Cyber Rookie, a hands-on mentoring and coaching platform that uses real world cyber GRC projects to let aspiring cyber professionals build up confidence and a portfolio of work demonstrating their skills, knowledge and critical thinking, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Roger is on a mission to make cyber security relatable and something everyone can engage with.
