Starting his career in the UK in 1985, Mike relocated to Australia in 1989 with one of the world’s largest recruitment advertising agencies, Austin Knight. He then co-founded his first agency, Beeley Callan Advertising, in Melbourne in 1992, selling it to Euro RSCG (now Havas) in 2006. In 2007 he founded his second agency, which in 2016 evolved into his current business Lightbox Communications. Over the last 30+ years Mike has helped hundreds of Australian and global organisations establish and maintain their EVP and employer brands both locally and across the world, through his teams in Sydney and Brisbane. Part of the global One Agent group which Mike co-founded in 2006, Lightbox currently has over 30 clients in most industries and sectors, helping them build sustainable talent pipelines through compelling and memorable recruitment marketing.
