Ben Jarris
Ben has spent 30 years running creative teams and the projects that keep them fed. He's been Global Creative Director at Appster, Head of Creative at Village Roadshow, has taught team management and user experience. He has also built and sold two companies of his own.
Along the way he's delivered projects for Telstra, NAB, Ford, the AFL, FIFA, Cricket Australia, Richard Branson and Lucasfilm; helped design the Olympic relay torch for the Beijing Games with lenovo, the gold medalist stamps for the Sydney Olympics; and worked on Star Wars Episode III. He's picked up several awards including a Webby and a W3 award, and managed teams building products valued at over $200 million.
He's also watched more project budgets slip than he'd like to admit and has made every mistake possible. It's exactly what he's here to talk about.
