The Sutherland Shire Business Chamber is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation founded in 2017 to represent and champion businesses across the Shire. Since launch, it has grown to reach more than 1,000 local businesses, backed by the broader capacity of Business NSW.

The Chamber exists to connect, champion and help local businesses thrive. Members get access to networking and educational events, a free business directory listing, newsletters and a Speakers Bureau, as well as affiliate membership with Business NSW, which includes an employment advice line, legal and marketing support, and discounted events across Sydney.

What makes SSBC distinct is its village-by-village approach to economic development, working at street level in precincts like Caringbah, Engadine and Menai to shape the future of local town centres. All funds raised go directly back into improving outcomes for members. For SMEs in the Shire, it's a practical, community-rooted place to grow.
