Entrepreneurial & Small Business Women Australia

Entrepreneurial & Small Business Women Australia (ESBWA) is a national advocacy and education platform dedicated to empowering women-led small and micro businesses, entrepreneurs, and founders across Australia. Founded in 2020 by Amanda Rose in response to a lack of support for female entrepreneurs, ESBWA has grown to a vibrant community of over 13,000 members.

ESBWA provides members with access to mentoring, networking, events, and educational resources tailored to the unique challenges faced by women in business. The organisation actively amplifies the voices of its members, striving to influence government policy and reduce barriers to growth. Key initiatives include advocating for the recognition of 100% women-owned businesses and expanding access to tenders, procurement opportunities, and funding.

A notable achievement is the launch of Australia's first dedicated procurement database for women-owned businesses, aiming to connect these enterprises with organisations seeking to increase supplier diversity.

Through its comprehensive approach, ESBWA continues to shape the future of Australia's female business community, driving growth and expanding access to opportunities.
