Digital Economy Council of Australia

The Digital Economy Council of Australia (DECA) is Australia's peak industry body for blockchain and distributed ledger technology, marking a decade of driving the country's digital economy forward. Formerly known as Blockchain Australia, DECA brings together businesses, policymakers, and industry experts who are implementing or evaluating blockchain, digital assets, and DLT across sectors including financial services, technology, and professional services.
Through its working groups, DECA taps into the expertise of those actively building web3, using that knowledge to help shape policy and regulatory conversations affecting the industry. The organisation also gives its members a platform to share their stories, connect with peers, and build relationships that turn ideas into real business outcomes.
Beyond advocacy, DECA is committed to education, helping the public and industry alike better understand blockchain technology, including how to spot and avoid scams in the digital asset space.
