Founded in April 1975, the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) is Australia’s premier private‑sector non‑profit dedicated to strengthening trade and investment between Australia and the Philippines. Formally recognized by both governments, APBC connects a wide network—over 100 organisations spanning SMEs, professional firms, government departments, and large enterprises—across industries such as mining, agriculture, technology, tourism and finance.
Headquartered in Sydney with chapters in NSW, VIC, QLD, and WA, the Council offers robust member benefits including inbound and outbound trade missions, high‑level networking, facilitation of business enquiries, and access to key insights across bilateral markets. Recent initiatives include technology missions to the Philippines with Austrade, an MOU with the Export Council of Australia to boost two‑way investment, and industry‑focused forums on sustainable mining and ASEAN market insights.
With a mission to “connect people in a meaningful way,” APBC fosters enduring economic partnerships and supports Australian and Philippine businesses in navigating opportunities in Southeast Asia
