The ERC Tax Credit Explained

The ERC is a refundable credit of up to $26k per W-2 employee that businesses can claim on qualified wages, compensation, certain health insurance costs, and more. The ERC was established by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The ERC is managed and paid by the IRS. It is not a Loan.
