Switch Connect named a finalist in three categories at the 2026 TIE Awards.

We’re proud to share that Switch Connect has been named a finalist in three categories at the 2026 Telecommunications Industry Excellence (TIE - formerly the ACOMMS) Awards -  the 20th anniversary of Australia’s longest-running awards for the telco sector, run by the Australian Telecommunications Alliance.

The finalists were announced this week ahead of the awards ceremony on 15 July at the Shangri-La in Sydney.

What we’ve been recognised for.

Innovation in Infrastructure Security and Resilience -  for our High Availability Microsoft Teams Phone solution for Government and Enterprise.

Innovation in Networks, Products and Technology (SME) - also for our High Availability Microsoft Teams Phone solution for Government and Enterprise.

Commitment to Customer Service - for a nomination titled “Tech Made Human” -  which focuses on our customer-first delivery and support model.

This is the one I am particularly proud of. “Tech Made Human” isn’t a tagline we bolt onto a product - it’s genuinely how our team approaches our work. It means technology that’s simple to use, support that understand what your business and people need, and outcomes you can actually measure.

Much of the work we deliver is mission-critical. When a council, a government department or an enterprise moves its phone system to Microsoft Teams, it has to keep working, every hour of every day. Our high-availability approach is built so that calls keep flowing even when something upstream doesn’t, and so the organisations that rely on it can place their utmost trust in their phone system.
