2026 Local Business Awards Finalists (Again)!
Pop the good kettle on, because there’s news worth celebrating. Marketing Movement has been named a finalist in the 2026 Illawarra and South Coast Local Business Awards. As an Australian digital marketing agency with about half our team based right here in the Illawarra and on the South Coast, this one feels close to home. Literally.
And before you ask: yes, we were a finalist last year too. So this isn’t beginner’s luck. It’s starting to look suspiciously like a habit.
What these awards actually are
The Local Business Awards are run by Precedent Productions, who have been championing local businesses for more than three decades. They’re not a pay-to-play popularity contest either. Finalists are chosen off the back of thousands of community nominations, and the judges are known for quietly turning up like everyday customers to see how a business really operates when nobody’s putting on a show.
Which means somewhere out there, someone may have judged us mid-Zoom, coffee in hand, untangling a client’s Meta access. We regret nothing.
Why it matters to us
We’re a boutique team spread across Australia, working remotely and running things a little differently. Self-managing, flexible, and built around the radical idea that women can have a serious career and a full life at the same time. Being recognised in the region where so many of our people live and work is a genuine honour, not just a nice logo for the website footer (although it will absolutely be going there).
For us, this nomination is a reflection of the work our clients trust us with every day: websites, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media, design, and the strategy that ties it all together. We get to do meaningful work for businesses we believe in, and apparently the community has noticed.
